Land

The key to unlock the solution to the housing crisis, are the landowners…

The UK continues to have strong demand for land, for a multitude of uses.

The key is in getting the right balance in providing good quality homes for a growing population, whilst protecting as much of natural England, and its heritage, as possible.

Land options are limited, so we target previously developed/urban land to ‘recycle’ along with strategic green land sites to help meet the growing UK demand.

However, the shortage of land supply is further challenged by ongoing capacity constraints in the planning system

UK Land Use

Being on a relatively small island, land suitable for development is extremely limited, and careful consideration needs to be made to ensure viable and sustainable development is carried out. We generally work in the ‘previously developed land’ space, to best recycle land and it’s use. Below is chart to show the approximate uk land use.
